The link between Kjersti her home in Åmotsdal proved illusive, I found her siblings and parents in the archives and that was it .
The link that opened the door was an email from Åmotsdal in March 2012 asking if the Spinning wheel came from Sneie Farm, this lead to contact with the Otago Museum, photos, the location of the house where she was born, her family tree, an article in the Åmotsdal yearbook and most important contact with relatives. Kjersti was once again added to the family tree in Åmotsdal after an absence of over 140 years
